So the summer appears to have come and gone and all in one glorious weekend. So how come I managed to miss it? I spent the hottest weekend of the year in a sweltering room but I didn’t mind because I was at Frank Furness’ speaker boot camp.

Frank is a master speaker. He has spoken in nearly 50 countries and is rated amongst the best in the world. This boot camp was his last in the UK. So having a chance to hone my speaking skills with someone like Frank is a form of continuing professional development. It’s also a great opportunity to meet and work with other great speakers.

I’ll be posting further on hints, tips and techniques I learned at Frank’s seminar.  I’ll also report back on some of the tips I passed on to the other delegates about web design, usability and on tools that I use to help my clients – I sometimes forget that the information that I take for granted is often unknown to others.
